History
Sakshi newspaper was launched on March 24, 2008. The First Regional News
Paper designed by world renowned newspaper designer, Mario Garcia. The
newspaper reportedly had an initial print run of Twelve Lakhs Eighty Six
Thousand six hundred and seventy Circulation on the day when it first
hits the news stands on 24 March 2008 (Reference :Price Water House
Audit). Sakshi secured its place in the Top Ten of Regional News Papers
Category in the Country (As per IRS Q-3, 2012). Mudra Institute of
Communications from Ahmedabad visited Sakshi to study this Journey of
Success.
Circulation
As per the Audit Bureau of Circulation, circulation figures released in October, 2010, Sakshi is the second largest circulating newspaper in Andhra Pradesh with circulation figure of more than 1.3 million copies. It is one of the richest Indian news papers. As on August 2010, its current AIR stands at 46.38 lakh. Sakshi Started its Journey with 23 editions published simultaneously from 19 Cities of Andhrapradesh along with 4 Metros being Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai & Bangalore. This record was ackwnoledged by Limca Book of Records. Sakshi is the First News Paper who publishes all of its pages in Color which is a far away destination to be reached by even World Famous Newspapers.Sakshi is now being available to all of its readers across the globe online everyday with all of its editions along with the Regional editions.Sakshi's revenue on advertisements crossed Rs 1000 Crores during the last 4 Years 10 Months.
As per latest ABC Audit(July - December 2012), Sakshi's Circulation reaches 15,38,845 with a readership base of 1.43 Crores(IRS 12, Q-3). Every year 4.5 Lakh new readers are patronizing Sakshi.
